Dr. Fishman is committed to providing personalized eyecare for patients in the Bay Area, Santa Cruz, and Northern California. Dr. Fishman is an Eye Physician and Surgeon specializing in state-of-the-art, small incision cataract surgery and complex cataract and anterior segment surgery. He offers all available premium intraocular lens implants (Crystalens, Tecnis and ReStor multifocal lenses, Toric) and laser enhancements.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist and anterior segment surgeon, Dr. Fishman offers full comprehensive eye care including the treatment of glaucoma, corneal and external diseases, eyelid disease as well as diabetic and macular degeneration screening, same day EyeSnapi iphone visits, and prescriptions for eye glasses and contact lenses.
With an MD PhD from Stanford in Analytical Laser Chemistry, a post doc in Neuroscience, and former founder and director of the Stanford Ophthalmic Tissue Engineering Lab, Dr. Fishman is uniquely qualified to evaluate the suitability of the most promising ocular innovations for his patients including Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery or Stem Cell Transplantation for eye diseases.
